FunniBonz at the Metropolitan Cooking & Entertaining Show
On November 7 and 8, FunniBonz joined hundreds of other vendors and celebrity chefs at the Metropolitan Cooking and Entertaining Show in Washington DC. Here are some shots of the show:
Jim III, Evonne, Darryl, Lauryn (left) and Jim Jr., Jo, Casi and Jordan (right)
Lauryn collecting names for the newsletter. Casi and Top Chef's Carla Hall
Sisters Jeannie Roché and Jo Barbour with cousin Lynn Peniston. There's nothing like the love and support of family!!
Staff (and new FunniBonz Fans) from Ella's Wood Fired Pizza in DC. Delicious food, perfectly mixed drinks, excellent service. We highly recommend it! (And it's more than just pizza!)

New friends and fans. Thank you all so much for making our days at the show so memorable. We loved meeting you!
Jordan and Lauryn enjoyed the cooking classes for kids.
Serving the masses... (Our line was never-ending! It was awesome!)
New Fans Dierdre and Nadine passed the sauce on to Paula Deen and her hubby Michael. Hope she likes it!

We love and appreciate our fans for all of the support that we receive at each store demo and food show. Here are a few more recent quick mentions of FunniBonz Barbeque Sauce:
Thank you all so much for the love and interest and for passing on the sauce, the coupons, the recipes and giving the jars and baskets away as gifts. We are more grateful than you could ever know!

October has been a Blast!
And we've only just begun! This past weekend, in spite of the fact that we started out with a little bit of rain, FunniBonz managed to make appearances at four separate venues.
On Saturday morning, we made our usual stop at the West Windsor Farmer's Market. It was rainy but a few dedicated fresh food lovers braved the weather and helped make our morning.
We also joined in on the celebration at the Hightstown Hometown Harvest Festival where we met some of the nicest residents and vendors ever. (Much love to Gina from the Windsor Seafood Market, the girls from Muscle Maker Grill in East Windsor and the ministers from Out of the Pit BBQ!) The weather cleared up nicely and the residents started coming out to taste the sauce and take home some jars.
We rounded out our Saturday at Mercer County Park's Burger Mania where local businesses sold their own versions of the famous hamburger slider in competiton with one another. Jeff Johnson of Hamilton's Carolina BBQ was the ultimate winner.
FunniBonz decided to opt out of the contest and serve something different. We offered FunniBonz Sloppy Joe and Pulled Pork slider platters instead. The pulled pork was slow roasted for nine hours, coated in FunniBonz Barbeque sauce and then topped with fresh home made cole slaw. Our line didn't end until the evening was over and all bellies were full. A HUGE shout out to McCaffrey's of West Windsor for all of their help and support at the event. We couldn't have done it without them!
Check out this article about Burger Mania from the Sunday Trenton Times.
On Sunday Jim made an appearance at the ShopRite of Mount Laurel at Union Mill Road where he sampled more of his now-famous pulled pork and cole slaw.
All in all, it was a wonderful weekend. Thank you so much to all of our Customers, Fans and Friends who continually support us, and recognize that this sauce can be used all year 'round, even when it isn't "grill season" anymore.
Special thanks to the Lisa Sinatra Ward and her family for creating fans as far away as Arizona and to Robbin Kemp Dean for bringing some jars back to South Carolina! We love and appreciate you!!

People Are Talking About FunniBonz
It's become one of the hottest new items of the year and people are still singing the praises of FunniBonz Barbeque Sauce. If you've tasted it, you know what the hype is all about. If you haven't, get to a demo or festival near you, pick up a jar at one of our 106 locations, or just place an order online and give it a try.
Here are some examples of what loyal (objective, unsolicited) customers are saying:
We are so glad that people are enjoying the sauce and we thank you all for so much love and support for a fledgling company on the rise. Stick with us - more is coming and we promise it will only get better!

Pennington Market's Resident Artist
You may not notice that a lot of the signs displayed throughout Pennington Market were designed by hand. The most amazing thing is that the artist is an employee at the market. His name is Greg. And Greg designed our awesome FunniBonz sign as well. Take a look:

Here are some of the other signs that Greg designed that you may not even have noticed:

Thanks so much to Greg, Chris, Don, Jerry and all of the staff at Pennington Market for their continued generosity and support. We at FunniBonz are eternally grateful!

Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Special thanks to Matthew Haly & Laura Swain (owners of The Furniture Joint in NYC), John & Alicia Katz Hastings-Kimball and their beautiful "spicy" family, Jan Lewis, Nancy Caputo and the boyz, Claire & Christopher Hardy, Cevera DaSilva, Angelene Jordan, Erik Matuszewski, Gina & Torry Jones, Carol Rowe, Joan Hagadorn, and all of the residents of the Pennington area that cared enough about a local family-owned business to give our product a chance.
We also owe a huge thanks to Don, Chris, Jerry, Richard, Diane, Juanita, Karyl, Mark, Chuck, Josh, Vicky, Nick, Joe, Soe, Jamie, Ben, Carrie and all of the other Pennington Market staffers that came by, tasted the sauce and sent back their co-workers for a taste as well.
We will be at Pennington Market again this weekend to make sure that everyone has enough sauce to make their Super Bowl parties the best that they can be. Once you taste our FunniBonz Spicy sauce on chicken wings, you will never go back to Buffalo-style!
Thanks again for all of your support! It means more to us than you can imagine.
